Supervising daily manufacturing activities to ensure products are made efficiently, meeting quality standards and meeting target schedules.
• Managing and training Production Staff
• Liaising with Customer Service in scheduling production jobs
• Setting production targets to staff, analysing areas for improvement
• Machine setup
• Enforcing policies and regulations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Allocating resources for the Production Department
• Verifying conformance on all first piece, in-process and final inspection of product via utilization of the measuring instruments
• Working with Production staff to create custom packaging to meet customer and shipping requirements
• Coordinating with QA Manager to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Assisting QA Manager in conducting internal audits
• Complying with company external accreditations
